WOLF collaborates with printmaker Fiona Howard

The Sophia collection of jewellery boxes has been transformed with a fresh floral design inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement

By Amy Wakeham

Luxury British boxmaker WOLF has reimagined its Sophia line of jewellery boxes with help from printmaker Fiona Howard.

The designer is renowned for her beautiful wallpaper and textile prints, including creating Sanderson’s iconic Dandelion Clocks pattern, which has been used across a variety of interiors products from wallpaper to curtains.

For her latest collaboration with WOLF, Howard has contributed her original Fruit Botanical design, an artwork inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement.

The pattern is hand-drawn, lino-cut and meticulously hand-printed by Howard using traditional techniques. Each colour is individually carved and printed in layers, building depth and richness to create the final composition.

The Fruit Botanical print (in Forest Green, Indigo and Jade colourways), has been added to the Sophia collection, including the Jewellery Box with Drawers, Jewellery Box with Window, Round Zip Case, and Travel Zip Case.

The cases all feature WOLF’s proprietary LusterLoc technology that prevents jewellery from tarnishing for up to 35 years.
