Presenting and talks

Rachael Taylor is an accomplished speaker and presenter. Known for her warm, engaging style, she is quickly able to get the best out of interview subjects on stage and on camera, while ensuring that the audience is both entertained and informed. She is a safe pair of hands on stage, and a master when it comes to curbing overzealous panellists, gently reinforcing and adding to points for clarity, and making everyone in the room - be that a large auditorium or an intimate setting - feel part of the fun. No matter the subject, she usually raises a laugh at some point (on purpose), and her in-depth jewellery knowledge makes her a sought after panellist and speaker, as well as a host.

Rachael participates in many talks on jewellery throughout the year, in the UK and internationally. Copenhagen Fashion Week, The Financial Times, Baselworld, International Jewellery London, The Goldsmiths’ Fair and Vicenzaoro have all called on her services. She also works with The Goldsmiths’ Centre on hosting live talks, as well as filmed presenting work for its digital education programme. In 2020 and 2021, Rachael was asked by The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council to host its awards at the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Hall, following in the footsteps of other jewellery luminaries such as Stephen Webster and Theo Fennell.

Rachael is available for a wide range of speaking and filming work. Do get in touch to discuss booking her to speak at or host your event, lead a live discussion, co-host an intimate dinner, facilitate a launch or opening, or for film work.

“Rachael has been our keynote presenter at our unique Awards ceremony for the last two years, held at the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Hall. It is the largest industry-focused event in the jewellery calendar with many leading companies supporting this comprehensive annual competition. Rachael is a consummate professional in this pivotal role. She is a natural to this demanding task but carries it off beautifully in a calm, controlled manner. Rachael charms the 300 guests, keeping them well informed, interested and engaged throughout the ceremony.
I cannot overstate the importance of our guest presenter, and Rachael made both ceremonies, including our first ever virtual presentation, a great success.”
