Nivoda launches a jewellery newsletter for the industry
It’s designed to be the ultimate resource for independent jewellers, created in collaboration with Rachael Taylor
Diamond marketplace Nivoda has launched a newsletter in collaboration with journalist, author and editor Rachael Taylor. The Modern Jeweler’s Playbook is intended to be the jewellery industry’s go-to resource, featuring news, analysis and insight, plus interviews with experts. It’s curated to provide jewellers with all the information and advice needed to succeed and grow their business.
“When we began planning this weekly newsletter with Nivoda, the ambition was simple: create the most useful, tactical newsletter for independent jewellers,” says Rachael Taylor.
“As an editor with 20 years’ experience reporting on the jewellery business, I know that there is no shortage of industry news, but finding the developments that matter – and making time to understand what they could mean for your business – is not always easy.”
To solve this issue, Taylor and her team, including journalist and editor Amy Wakeham, and jeweller and content creator Jordan Mantzke, will deliver a tightly edited round-up of the stories worth knowing directly to subscribers’ inboxes every Friday, alongside independent, in-depth reporting that goes beyond the headlines.
It forms one strand of Nivoda’s new editorial-led strategy, which will see fresh activations launched across both its social media and digital platforms. There also will be opportunities for freelance contributors as the newsletter grows.
Dave Sutton, CEO and co-founder of Nivoda, and co-founder of Taylor & Hart
For the first edition of The Modern Jeweler’s Playbook, Taylor spoke to Nivoda CEO and co-founder David Sutton about his predictions for jewellery retail over the next 12 months. Sutton is also the co-founder of successful independent jeweller Taylor & Hart, so he revealed exactly what type of retail business he’d build if he was starting all over again today.
In the next issue, the strategy behind one of the US’s most successful jewelry businesses will be broken down into essential lessons for independent brands. To make sure you receive your edition straight to your inbox, visit get.nivoda.com/newsletter
